Android operating system based tablets are now being so common within our Indian Society. People like them as they are flexible, user-friendly and simple to use. The government of India commenced a cheapest tablet computer of world named as Aakash. Manufactured by a British company known as DATAWIND, Aakash Ubislate Tablet is an Android based tablet pc.
The company has launched three versions of Aakash tablets till now including Aakash 1, Aakash 2 and Aakash 3. The first Aakash Tablet Pc didn’t please many and the latest upgrade called the Aakash 2, aimed to take care of that. Priced higher at Rs. 4499 and available in its commercial avatar as Ubislate 7Ci, the tab comes with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS running on a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. It is a 7 inch tablet with capacitive touch screen and comes with WIFI and USB connectivity options. By adding a few enhancements like the capability to make phone calls in Aakash 2 (or the Ubislate 7Ci), Datawind came back in the Indian market with Aakash 3, or the Ubislate 7C+. It looks very similar to its predecessor, and there aren't too many differences in features either. The big difference is in the addition of calling functionality and a slightly more powerful battery that provides longer backup.
Aakash 4 PC Tablets, fourth generation of the Aakash series low-cost tablets is expected to be launching by Minister of Communication and Information Technology Kapil Sibal by Jan 2014. Aakash 4 will be seeing changes in the hardware side of things which will enable it to dual-boot Android and Linux (through a microSD card). It will have 1GB of DDR3 SDRAM as well as 4GB of internal storage and up to 32GB microSD support.The high end version will have 3G and 4G features, the base model would be for school students and others, who do not need more features.For more information visit http://ubislate.com/
